Underage drinking is not a harmless rite of passage. It’s a serious  health and safety risk that can derail a young person’s future before it  even begins. At KC Grace Foundation, we’re committed to helping youth  make informed, confident decisions that support  a healthy, alcohol-free lifestyle.

Why Alcohol Prevention Matters

Developing Brain: The human brain continues growing until age 25.  Alcohol interferes with this development, affecting memory,  decision-making, and emotional control.

-Higher Risk of Addiction: Drinking early increases the risk of alcohol dependency later in life.

-Increased Accidents: Underage drinking is a leading cause of car crashes, violence, and risky behavior

-Mental Health Impact: Alcohol use can worsen anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues.

What We Teach:

We equip youth with the tools to:

-Understand the facts about alcohol and its effects

-Recognize peer pressure and how to resist it

-Build healthy coping skills for stress, anxiety, and trauma

-Find safe alternatives and supportive environments

Our Programs Include:

-School and community workshops

-Peer-led support groups

-Social media campaigns

-Educational resources for parents and educators

-One-on-one youth counseling and prevention coaching

How You Can Help:

-Students: Join our movement by standing up, speaking up, and empowering others

-Parents: Start the conversation early. Be present, listen and set clear boundaries

-Educators & Leaders: Partner with us to deliver prevention resources in your school or community.
